I picked these up today, Franny and Zooey was instrumental in my life, and now I’d like to finish reading all that Salinger has put out there. I was only going to pick up “Raise High the Roof Beam Carpenters” but I was latter easily swayed into getting both books. I then had a lovely dinner, followed by realizing how incredible stories are shared when read aloud with another.
Also, the phrase “Well that was a Jesus brilliant thing to do” shall become part of my normal usage.
